LaTonya grew up in a small town in the Texas Panhandle. She graduated high school in 1987. She then went to the United States Navy where she served for 13 years. As a single mother of four, she attended Clarendon College, in Clarendon Texas, where she obtained her Associates of Arts degree in Secondary Education in 2003. After her mother suffered some health issues, she started the LPN program in 2004 at Clarendon College. After graduating the LPN program, she obtained experience at the Heart Hospital, Rehab and Home Health. In April 2013, she married her husband and moved to Oklahoma. She has been an LPN with Community Health since June 2014. In her spare time, LaTonya likes to go camping and spending time with her grandkids. Every year, she participates in the Wounded Warrior Project and the Robbers Cave Invasion where water, Gatorade and toys are donated for the Police and Fire Department.
