WHAT IS CENTRAL OKLAHOMA HEALTHY START INITIATIVE?
Central Oklahoma Healthy Start Initiative is Part of a national program to reduce infant mortality , low birthweight, and other poor perinatal outcomes. Our Healthy Start program provides case management, parenting support, and health education to help pregnant women get the care they need to have healthy babies. The purpose of the program is to reduce or eliminate perinatal health disparities in Oklahoma & Pottawatomie Counties.
